Neven Radovic


Having been recognized by Vogue Magazine as one of the top seven stylists in the country, Neven Radovic's reputation precedes him. He has been a major player on the International hair scene since leaving his native Croatia and moving to Washington, DC in 2008, and maintains a strong client base across the US, Dubai and Europe. His work has been featured in the pages of Washingtonian, Capital File and has earned him the cover of Metro Weekly. Neven has firmly established himself as the 'goto' stylist for celebrities. His clients include Molly Simms, Mandy Moore, Debra Messing, Claire Danes, Cynthia Nixon, Lynda Carter, and Miranda Cosgrove.

Amy Putens


After working along side London’s top hair stylists, Antoinette Beenders and Bruno Elorriooroz, Amy has returned back to her roots in DC! Her fourteen years in the hair industry has provided a wealth of knowledge and experience. After her time spent in the UK, Amy joined the Davines Education team which allowed her the opportunity to travel and find new inspiration at every turn. While Amy has an extreme liking for men’s grooming she is equally as enchanted by the beautiful, bouncy and transformable locks of women. As a stylist at the Studio, Amy is looking to elevate her career by becoming involved in more editorial and event styling along with embracing all forms of education to enhance her portfolio and clients needs.

Isabel Azocar


Upon graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2009, Isabel Azocar began her professional career as an assistant and apprentice under Stylist Neven Radovic. Her commitment and drive quickly set her apart from others and in a very short period of time Isabel established herself as one of DC's edgy and fresh new stylists. She is always up on the latest trends and enjoys working with clients to achieve a truly customized final result. Isabel specializes in Brazilian Blowout treatments and is famous for her amazing blowouts!

Max Charnley


With more than 6 years of experience, Max brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Ian McCabe Studio. Shortly after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in illustration and graphic design, he went to South Korea and taught English feeling burnt out in art. After moving back to Richmond he rediscovered his creativity as a hair stylist, and began his early career working at Mango Salon in Richmond, VA learning under talented stylists and educators from Bumble & Bumble, Aveda and Vidal Sassoon. Max became the first stylist to join the Ian McCabe team when the studio launched and has then worked as network educator for Bumble and Bumble at the Studio where he taught many styling and cutting classes for the team. Max embraces his love of natural, effortless hair as an extension of his client’s beauty, has a passion for editorial hair and fashion shows, and specializes in razor cutting in all ranges of hair from classic long hair to short-pixie cuts to bangs and fringes. When he’s not at the salon, you can catch him working on a new illustration or playing competitive volleyball with the D.C. Pride Volley League (DCPVL).

Danny McClure


Originally from North Carolina, Danny grew up as part of a very creative and artistic family. His love of hair and style was born out of the inherited art skills he received from his father, and hairstyling skills he received from his mother. He has accomplished many goals since becoming a licensed stylist. Danny has worked backstage at NYFW, been published in the glossies, worked on the set of an independent film, and worked on various editorial shoots and shows. His style is edgy to clean. His favorite part of doing hair is creating shape, and adding color to further the hairstyle. He would ultimately like to one day create his own product line. Danny is very dedicated and passionate about hair and prides himself on the finish and experience each client gets when they sit in his chair.

Emerald Fox


Emerald J. Fox is a Washingtonian native who attracts a clientele seeking soft, textured cuts that grow out seamlessly. Her military background and city roots lend a vivacious discipline to her work, where she quickly determines the best course of action while offering up warmth and humor.  During her eight-year service in the United States Marine Corps, Emerald traveled around the world and began cutting her peers’ hair in her downtime. When she arrived back in the States, she knew she only wanted to create beautiful hair and enrolled in cosmetology school at Graham Webb Academy in Rosslyn, Virginia. She earned a sought-after position assisting Johnny Wright, First Lady Michelle Obama’s personal hairdresser. Her apprenticeship with top editorial stylist Tuan Anh Tran furthered her Toni & Guy dry cutting techniques and event styling. Emerald recently advanced her skills through straight razor cutting at Arrojo and Bumble & Bumble to craft the lived-in looks she loves.
